Reinhard is an actuary and an IVS-certified specialist in occupational pensions for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. His profession revolves around the mathematical valuation of pension obligations—often in the context of complex M&A projects or international financial reporting. He programs using VBA and works analytically, particularly in the field of stochastic analysis. As a mathematician, he is fascinated by the elegance of probabilities and random processes.
His son is an enthusiastic chess player—a game that, like mathematics, is rich in structure and strategy. Magnus Carlsen exemplifies how cognitive excellence and intuition can lead to world-class performance. Reinhard especially values the epistemological depth that chess can teach children.
Sophie’s greatest passion is to communicate – be it professionally in PR, marketing and journalism or privately when talking to people from different social, political or economic backgrounds, from other countries or while traveling the world. For Sophie, communication means discourse and exchange of thoughts as well as interaction between herself and her surroundings in a broader sense – inspiring others and being inspired herself. She loves to create newsworthy stories and campaigns around ideas, products or companies that she believes in, that spark public interest, address important issues or ignite new perspectives.
